Looking Glass Falls

The most famous and accessible waterfall in Western NC. This 60-foot cascade is visible from the road with viewing platform at top and stairs to the base. Perfect for all ages and abilities. One of the most photographed waterfalls in America.

Sliding Rock

Nature's 60-foot water slide! Slide down smooth rock into a 7-foot deep pool. Lifeguards on duty Memorial Day through Labor Day. Open year-round with restrooms and changing facilities. A must-do summer activity!

DuPont State Recreational Forest

Home to four spectacular waterfalls featured in "The Hunger Games" including Triple Falls, Bridal Veil Falls, Wintergreen Falls, and High Falls. Over 10,000 acres with 80+ miles of trails for hiking, mountain biking, and horseback riding. Easy to moderate trails with stunning waterfalls accessible to most visitors.

Connestee Falls

Offers a stunning welcome as you enter Brevard, just off Highway 276. The overlook's viewing platform provides breathtaking views and soothing sounds of cascading water, perfect for relaxing or nature photography. ADA-accessible viewing deck.

Rainbow Falls

Known for creating rainbows in the mist on sunny days! This 150-foot waterfall on the Horsepasture River is worth the moderate 3-mile round trip hike. Best views in morning light. Also known as High Falls.

Brevard Music Center

One of the country's premier summer music festivals and training programs! Features 80+ concerts from June through August on a beautiful 180-acre wooded campus. Downtown Brevard Arts District
